NC Gay & Lesbian Film Festival

We will gather at the LGBT Center of Raleigh to see the Film Festival Trailers in July!

The Sign Up Form was here!

This is the one you have been waiting all year for! Our annual preview of the North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. The Festival runs from August 14th through 22nd at the Carolina Theatre in Durham.

The Festival promises us that their website will be populated with the entire schedule by Thursday, July 16th, but even if they don’t meet that deadline, we have permission from Festival Director Jim Carl to show the previews. We will be the first to view ALL the men’s and everyone feature trailers, so bring your pad and pencil so you can decide which films you want to see.

It's rare, but the LGBT Center of Raleigh opened up on the 3rd Friday, so we can see the Trailers there! Yay! So, we are set to get together in the Activity Room at the LGBT Center of Raleigh on Friday, July 17th from 7:30 until 9:00 or so, bringing our goodies and finger food to share with new friends we will probably meet that night. Invite everyone you know who might be interested. We’ll have a chance to talk about everything that entertains us: books, movies, television, theatre, concerts, and more, but we will reserve plenty of time to see the Trailers.

Please call Jim at 919-235-7199 to let him know if you are coming or bringing additional friends. Or, instead of calling, you can let everyone know that you are coming and what refreshments you are bringing by clicking on the yellow box.

The location for the LGBT Center of Raleigh is at 324 South Harrington Street. Free parking is available in the lot behind the building - particularly the gravel lot back there. If asked, please let the parking attendant know you are going to an event at the Center. Parking will be free! Please do NOT park in the Alley. Here is a Google map to the LGBT Center.
